11/11: November Social – Friends of Shenandoah Mountain
We are very excited to host special guests, Lynn Cameron and Thomas Jenkins for our November monthly social in the basement of Clementine. Lynn and Thomas are co-chairs of Friends of Shenandoah Mountain, Friends of Shenandoah Mountain (FOSM). The organization is a coalition of local citizens, businesses, faith groups, wilderness advocates, mountain bikers, hikers, hunters, fishermen, and other forest users working to protect the wild heritage of Shenandoah Mountain for future generations.
Lynn and Thomas will provide us with an update on the proposal and get into the details about what the proposal means for those of us who regularly recreate and maintain trails on the George Washington National Forest. Blue Ridge Outdoors recently covered the proposal and interviewed both Lynn and Thomas. Read the Blue Ridge Outdoors story.
