2/1: Alpine Loop Gran Fondo Registration Opens Today
Please support those events that support the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. The Alpine Loop Gran Fondo donates thousands of dollars each year to your Bicycle Coalition. With their help, we were able to engage in the Connect Our Schools Campaign to help secure $3 million for local greenways in the City of Harrisonburg. Riding your bike really can change your community!
Today (February 1), beginning at 10 a.m., you can register for the 2017 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo online at BikeReg.com/GranFondo.
The first 50 registrants can take advantage of Early Bird Pricing, and the next 100 will have access to Start Line Discounts.
With an entire cycling season between now and the Gran Fondo, the goals you set today will provide the motivation for countless rides to come.

In the Gran Fondo October 1, 2017 what is meant by 5 year age group?
Roger- It means that there is an age group for every 5 years. So you compete on the King of the Mountain segments within your age group, which is every 5 years.
