The Shenandoah Mountain Bike Festival originated in 1997 and remains a volunteer-run event. The Festival is the largest fundraiser for the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) proceeds from the Festival help the Coalition achieve our goals of Building better communities in the Vally. The Festival is held at the beautiful Stokesville Campground.

An important component of the Festival is giving back to the trails of the National Forest. We will hold a SINGLE trail work sessions on Saturday. We hope you will join us for the great riding, trail care, friendships, and fall foliage.
Registration Info
- Current members of the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition receive a discount on their festival registration. Join or Renew Today!
- All festival attendees must register, even if you do not plan to ride bicycles. The Stokesville Campground is open ONLY for our registered festival guests on Columbus Day Weekend.

- A weekend of riding, trail work, eating and hanging out
- Group rides Friday afternoon through Sunday
- All proceeds benefit the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition
- Stokesville, VA is in the heart of the George Washington National Forest 25 miles southwest of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Campground Information

- RV Sites: Includes: 30 Amp electric plus water/sewer hookups
- Bathrooms and hot showers are both available
- The campground will be open as part of your festival registration from 1 pm Friday-6pm Sunday. You can stay additional nights by contacting Stokesville Campground
- There are also plenty of fun activities for everyone around the campground including a playground for kids, bonfires, and miles of gravel roads for folks who want to ride bikes but don’t want to go mountain biking.
- The trail and road riding around the Stokesville Campground and in the George Washington National Forest is beautiful and challenging. When you ride from the Festival location expect plenty of gravel roads, county paved roads, endless single track trail riding and big old fashion mountains.
