Help Develop Bike-Ped Plan with Super Cool Wikimap
The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Metropolitan Planning Organization (HRMPO) is in the process of developing a bicycle and pedestrian plan for the region.
We are now entering a new phase of public input where we would like to get more specific about locations that could use improvements to pedestrian or bicycle infrastructure.
We’ve developed an online map at http://wikimapping.com
wikimap/project120.htm where you can tell the project team the places you already bike or walk, and those places where you would like to but don’t yet feel comfortable or safe.
The Wikimap will remain open until late May.

Thanks, Rich for posting about this! This is a really cool way to collect ideas and super easy for community members to draw lines and add points of interest to the map.
Everyone, please don’t forget to “like” ideas you see others drawing on the map and/or adding a comment in agreement or disagreement.

I would love to see something similar to the Greenway that has been built in Luray. Love going over there. It’s along the creek and it’s beautiful!
