The Brusher Crew on Red Diamond (Slate Springs Trail)

On Sunday Jan 22nd 20+ volunteers from SVBC and CAMBC took to Shenandoah Mountain to help clear several trails. The Slate Spring Trail and Pond Knob Trail were brushed and chainsaw as well as several sections along both trails saw tread work. Hone Quarry Ridge Trail as also a lot of clearing which has seen tremendous amount of debrie from recent prescribed burns as well as gypsy moth destruction. Heart Break trail also had a hand crew go up and clear down fall. Thanks for these volunteers SVBC did over 150 hours of trail work in one day!

    Thank you for all the prep work. It made the ride down thrilling instead instead of death defying.
