Western Slope Volunteer Dig Days – Thursdays 2022

From now until the end of September the Coalition will hold Thursday evening volunteer dig days on the Massanutten Western Slope Trail. To begin the season we will meet at the “U” Intersection to work on the extension of Red, White, and Blue. Look for our red “Trail Work” Signs and stay tuned to WesternSlopeTrails.org for any location changes.

  • Thursdays: 5pm until Dark

Join us every Thursday for Massanutten Western Slope Volunteer Dig Days. Everyone is welcome and you can follow our red trail work signs to the worksite.

-When: Thursday evenings from 5 PM – Dark. But Join whenever leave whenever. These weekly work parties continue until the end of September.

Where is the Trail? We will begin the season by finishing a fresh machine-built trail. In this case, the extension to the Red, White, and Blue Trail just above the “U” intersection. The trail is located next to Gravity Monkey and can be accessed from below.

-Where Should I Park?: You can park along the side of Del Webb Drive near the “U” intersection.

-What to Bring: You, good working attire, and a friend! Your Bicycle Coalition will provide tools and beverages for post-trail work enjoyment.
